Install and connect your phone
  1. Download the APK. Open the downloaded CloudPhone.apk file.
  2. Allow installation if prompted. Android may ask you to allow installs from your browser. You can turn that permission off afterward.
  3. Connect your phone. Open Cloud Phone and scan the QR code from your client area.

Updating from an earlier version? Install over your existing app to keep your saved phones. If you see a signature conflict, contact support before uninstalling.

What’s new in 4.2

Copy and paste between your phone and your cloud phone. Copy text on your own phone, open your cloud phone, press and hold a text box and tap Paste. Text you copy on the cloud phone lands on your own phone too.

From 4.1:

Removing a phone keeps the app open. Your list updates in place, so you can add another phone straight away.

Floating ball on or off, per phone. Choose it in a phone’s details or in the phone’s menu. With it off, tap the screen with three fingers to open the controls.

Clear cache, per phone. Frees space used by app caches on that cloud phone. Your apps and data stay.

Steadier on Wi‑Fi. The app keeps your Wi‑Fi in low-latency mode while you use a cloud phone, and your screen stays on during a session.

  1. Open in Safari. Tap the button above to open Cloud Phone sign-in.
  2. Tap Share → Add to Home Screen. Scroll the sharing menu if needed.
  3. Tap Add. Keep “Open as Web App” enabled if shown, then launch Cloud Phone from your Home Screen.

Sign in using the details from your client area. Browser features depend on your device and permissions.

A few things,
before you connect.

Do I need a Cloud Phone subscription?

Yes. These apps connect to your existing Cloud Phone service. Downloading an app does not create or include a cloud phone. Use your HostDel client area to manage your service.

Can I download an iPhone installer?

The iPhone and iPad option is currently a web app. Open it in Safari and add it to your Home Screen. A native iOS download is not available yet; Android APKs and Mac DMG files cannot install on iPhone.

What affects the speed of my cloud phone?

Response time depends mostly on your connection and your distance from the cloud phone. Steadiness matters more than raw speed: a stable Wi‑Fi or 5G connection feels faster than a quicker one that keeps dropping in and out.

For the smoothest session, use the latest Android app, which keeps your Wi‑Fi in low-latency mode while you use your phone. Leave picture quality on Auto, or choose a lower quality on a weak connection.

Where do I use automation?

Use the Automation section of your Cloud Phone service in the WHMCS client area. Available scripts and their required inputs are shown there.
